A deeply nourishing, iron-rich purée made with grass-fed beef, liver, creamy avocado, and a hint of blueberries for natural sweetness and antioxidants.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz grass-fed ground beef
- 1/2 oz pastured beef liver (optional but highly recommended)
- 1/4 ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp steamed or thawed blueberries
- Water, bone broth, or breast milk (for thinning)
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, gently cook the ground beef and beef liver (if using) over medium-low heat until fully done. Use a little water to avoid drying.
- Let the cooked meat cool slightly.
- In a blender or baby food processor, combine:
- Cooked beef and liver
- Ripe avocado
- Blueberries
- Add a little warm water, bone broth, or breast milk to help blend to a smooth purée.
- Blend until silky smooth. Add more liquid as needed to reach your desired consistency.
